First sang under the name of Mlle Thilma, in cafe-concerts and theaters of operettas with her husband, the comic Raiter (Folies-Bergere of Rouen, 1891, Alcazar of summer in Paris, 1894). Engaged for three years at the Théâtre de la Gaîté in Paris, she started under the name of Mathilde Cocyte, September 12, 1896.
