    Description
    1914 Ford Model T Fire Chief's Car
Listed on behalf of Monte Shelton Motors.
    Located in PORTLAND, OREGON.
This 1914 Ford Model T was restored to an exceptionally high level as a Fire Chief's car for parades and show.
Body was removed from the frame and nothing was left untouched. The roadster pickup body features bucket seats upholstered in black leatherette. Gorgeous glossy red paint with expertly hand-painted detailing and gold leafing.
No chips, dings or damage. Ready to show. This truck is loaded with vintage fire equipment including two brass Pyrene fire extinguishers, axe, hose and nozzles, and a restored c.1930 National foam generator mounted to the rear deck. Lots of brass!
PLEASE SEE PHOTOS WHICH WERE JUST TAKEN FOR THIS LISTING AND SHOW CURRENT CONDITION.
Mechanically, this T is excellent. Rebuilt 4 cylinder engine. 22 horsepower. Hand-crank start. Starts easily, runs smoothly with plenty of power. Water pump added for increased cooling. Planetary transmission engages and shifts easily. Brakes stop smooth and straight. Refinished oak wheels wrapped by newer tires. Hassler shock absorbers up front. Spotless undercarriage. This is one of the best running and driving T's I have ever encountered. Needs nothing. Ready to go now.
PLEASE SEE VIDEO BELOW, OF THIS CAR STARTING, RUNNING AND DRIVING.
If you are looking for a standout, brass-era Model T for show or go, this is a great one! Draws a crowd wherever it goes with more "smiles per gallon" than just about anything else on the road. Limited use since restoration. Note that this car does not have a speedometer or odometer, so total mileage is unknown. Clear Oregon title registered to the current owner.
A reserve has been placed on this T in keeping with its quality. It could not be restored to this level today for the reserve price. Please bid accordingly.
WE WILL HAPPILY SELL TO BIDDERS WORLDWIDE AND CAN ASSIST WITH SHIPPING ANYWHERE.
    Thanks for looking and
    GOOD LUCK!
