1927 Ford Model T Tudor Sedan
The Model T is often regarded as the most significant automobile of the 20th century. It was the first mass market motorized transportation and within a few days of its introduction in 1908, 15,000 orders had been placed. Of the car Henry Ford said, "I will build a motor car for the great multitude. It will be large enough for the family, but small enough for the individual to run and care for. It will be constructed of the best materials, by the best men to be hired, after the simplest designs that modern engineering can devise. But it will be so low in price that no man making a good salary will be unable to own one – and enjoy with his family the blessing of hours of pleasure in God's great open spaces.".
For consignment, a final year Model T Tudor in unrestored condition that is very much restorable. There are few left in barns almost 100 years later and having one with "good bones" is the dream project for many in the T community, which survives and, in some places, thrives.
NO TITLE-SOLD ON A BILL OF SALE ONLY
    Exterior
Clad in gray paint with contrasting black fenders and running boards, this T has straight body panels and external components like hardware and lights that are rough, but present. Red pinstripes line the engine cover louvers and also the shoulder line of the car. The black paint appears to have received an application of a hand brushed coat. 21-inch wooden spoke wheels are complete, but like the rest of the car would benefit from restoration. There are a number of chips in the paint and one fender has a crack in the metal, but the windows are whole, and the radiator looks good.
    Interior
Gray striped cloth covers the door panels, side walls, and the seats as well. Bucket seats are in the front and a bench is in back. A simple four spoke steering wheel connects to a narrow steering column and the dash has a single gauge and the lever for the choke. A Ford branded rubber mat covers the front floor but the wood plants are exposed in the back. A simple headliner looks its age but is intact.
    Drivetrain
A 177ci 4 cylinder engine is present and has an aftermarket Simmons Super Power head. A 1-barrel carburetor feeds the engine while the 2-speed planetary transmission is original equipment. The rear gear ratio is 3.63. Mechanical drum brakes are found on the rear wheels only, but are reserved for parking duties as the transmission has a braking band within.
    Undercarriage
The single exhaust is about the only thing that is coated in surface rust. Everything else, while a bit greasy in spots you'd expect, is complete and solid. Transverse leaf springs are present on the car.
There are Model T club chapters in 45 states and ten countries outside the United States. Their Facebook page has 66,000 followers and there are resources, videos, and a Model T museum in Richmond, Indiana. Every car you see on the road today owes its existence, in large part to the invention, process, and delivery of the Model T to the United States. Here's one worth saving!
