Technical data and characteristics
This valve is a normally closed adjustment unit without a built-in orifice. It is used as a bypass pressure compensator to ensure that the pressure drop through the orifice remains constant and is not affected by changes in inlet and outlet pressure.
An optional adjustment (L control) is provided to change the pressure drop across the compensator to increase or decrease the flow. Only D-rated springs (50 psi [3,5 bar]) have this control option.
All ports can accept 5000 psi (350 bar) pressure.
Corrosion-resistant threaded cartridge valves are designed for use in corrosive environments and the valve model is suffixed with / AP to distinguish it. (Refer to the options below). The valve bodies of these valves are made of high-strength duplex stainless steel. Depending on the model, the adjustment bolt can be made of titanium alloy or silicon brass. The lock nut, positioning wire and various controls are made of 316 stainless steel. The internal parts are made of the same carbon steel lead alloy as the standard valve parts.
The Sun floating structure is used to reduce the possibility of internal parts sticking due to excessive installation torque or machining errors of the socket / cartridge valve.
