    Description

FR 824    1915  Federal Reserve Bank Note Chicago  PCGS Banknote 65 PPQ
    - Tied for the second finest known with both services! The statistics on this note is incredible. First of all, large size FRBN's are rare - there are only 36 examples known for this Friedberg number. Of those examples, only 2 are graded finer with PCGS (both 66 PPQ).  And similar to the FRBN, not all Federal Reserve Banks issued “Twenty” dollar bills - only 5 of the 12 did.  One other interesting statistic, all uncirculated examples are from this bank – the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.  So if you want a nice FRBN, this is your note.  The design of this note is also intriguing. The front of this note has the side profile of President Grover Cleveland and on the back there are vignettes of United States dominance in transportation over land, air and sea. Large size FRBN's are numismatic sleepers and represent an opportunity few notes can match.
