AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARY WAR, ENGLISH INFANTRY SWORD CA 1780. Closed Heart shaped counterguard. The Heart came into fashion after the second half of the 18th century after the continental bilobate pattern.
The Quillon and blade are in good condition as the rest of the sword. No cracks or breaks to the grip. Not cleaned, I leave that for the buyer.
Shipping includes Insurance cost and double wrapping. Shipping weight 6 pounds.
Measurement of Blade 27.5" Inches, Total Length is 32.5" inches, 1 1/16" Width.
Hilt : Brass
Placed in bubble double wrap for Post.
