    An original and historic manuscript invoice involving two pioneers of the Hudson Valley, New York, in the years before the American Revolution,....Merchant HENDRICK TEN EYCK [1680-1772] of Albany, New York, has signed an invoice dated October 29, 1747 for goods provided to  CONRADT ELMENDORF [1710-1789], proprietor of a famous Inn and Tavern in the Town of Kingston, N.Y. The Inn still stands, having played an important role in the Revolutionary War in New York....Hendrick Ten Eyck was a baker, militia officer, surveyor and Commissioner of Indian Affairs. On the reverse is a signed receipt dated 1751.
