    Pair of Fernet-Branca bottles.
    I believe these to be prohibition era bottles as the label on each says:
    "approved by the U.S. Treasury Department" this statement would only make sense on prohibition era sales, if you have information contrary to this please message me
    label also says L. Gandolfi & Co - New York - agents for North America
    My guess is this pre-dates the opening of Fernet Branca's own office in New York.
    This product was 39% alcohol by volume but was sold and marketed as medicine.  This is how it gained popularity during prohibition.
