    Rare 76 page soft covered book "Janackuv, Sbornik Hudebnich Rozhledu" or "Janacek Collection of Musical Viewpoints" Vol. I. 3-4, published forth the composer's 70th birthday, on his birthday, Brno, July 3, 1924.  The book is loaded with essays, advertisements., lists of Janacek's works to that time.  All in Czech and edited by Vladimir Helfert. (1886-1945 - a musicologist friend of Janacek and a victim of the Nazi's.)
    Contributors include articles by: Janacek friend and educator Frantisek Mares, critic and bandmaster Karel Savasky, Frantisek Vaic, Janacek's pupil Jaroslav Kvapil, Janacek pupil Osvald Chlubna, musicologist and Janacek friend Vladimir Helfert, musicologist and author on Janacek in his lifetime Otakar Novacek and Janacek pupil Josef Cernik.
    Many of the pages were never separated and therefore this copy of the book was never read. Light water staining does not effect.
    We could not find an example of this book for sale, though we have found record of a later edition of the book 5-6, published later on, nor could we find it in Google books.
