    Offered in this 7-day auction is a c.1750-1770 Pipe Carrier. Wood pipe carrier in excellent condition.  Opens easily and closes tightly.  These are rare!  Pipe carriers were used to transport fragile clay pipes. There is a nice reference for the same style carrier in Neumann & Kravic's,
