Revolutionary War, English Belt Knife, with wooden sheath, overall 11 inches

Description

This is an original Revolutionary War period , English Belt Knife, in wooden sheath. Overall length of knife and sheath is 11 inches, blade alone is 5 inches. Wooden sheath has brass with a faded silver wash embellishments and belt clip. Knife has a slight curve to blade, brass hilt, minor separation on brass joiner to wooden grip. Overall a very nice knife,  else a scarce item. From my private collection of militaria , in my collection for over 35 years, time to downsize.
