SUPERB LITHOGRAPH OF ANTONIO TAMBURINI IN I PURITANI

Description

This is an important lithograph (published Jan. 1, 1836). Chalon is celebrated as one of the greatest creators of opera  related lithographs. This features the great baritone Antonio Tamburini in Act I, scene 3 of Bellini's I Puritani, a role he created. The words are : "Io ardo e il mio adore e amore e furore" (text by Felice Romani). It measures 21" x 17" framed. Absolutely fantastic.
