Up for sale here we have a seashell from the Mitridae family of sea snails.  This species was identified under authority of Lamarck in 1811.  These shells have a taxonomic identification of "Ziba bacillum".  This shell was caught near Marinduque Island in Tayabas Bay, The Philippines.  This shell measures about 1 inch tall - the included display case measures about 3/4 by 3/4 inch.  It is in excellent condition.
